ATI exists to fill those gaps through structured learning pathways, certifications, internships, mentoring, job coaching, etc. This will increase the supply of ready-to-work autistic technologists and ultimately decrease unemployment and underemployment within the autistic community.

Q: What are the acceptance criteria?

We are focused on autistic adults who have a high school diploma and aptitudes in or related to technology. There is a minimum commitment of 20 hours/week. 

Q: What is the acceptance rate?

Our acceptance rate for training is intentionally low as we build capacity. Our acceptance rate for job coaching is dependent on acceptance into an internship or apprenticeship, which is dependent on availability.

Q: How much does it cost to participate?

Thanks to our partners, various grants, and philanthropists, there is currently no cost for those who are accepted to the program.

Q: Is the program online, in-person or hybrid?

The program is conducted 100% online, including training, job coaching, and internships/apprenticeships.

Q: Are internships & apprenticeships paid?

Most pay a modest hourly rate.
